Technical glitches caused Kurnia Racing to pull out of race despite topping qualifying session

Disappointed but thankful: Hunt said it was a privilege to work Malaysian sponsors, Kurnia and AmAssurance.

Kurnia AmAssurance Racing Team decided to pull out of the KL City Grand Prix due to technical glitches with the brakes on the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 machine that resulted in an incident during the eighth lap of Josh Hunt’s qualifying session.

Despite securing pole position for the inaugural KL City GT Cup after Hunt topped both practice and qualifying sessions, safety remains the number one priority for the team.
