Hard-earned win puts CRC in the big picture

Good save: Butterworth City’s goalkeeper Wa Tee Meng going airborne to stop aheader from CRC striker Chee Eng (left) in their semi-final clash at the Polo Ground.

CHINESE Recreation Club (CRC) are on the verge of achieving their dream of putting the Khor Kai Keng Millennium Cup back on their shelf, by confirming their place in the final of the Penang Chinese FA Veterans League.

For CRC, who last engraved their name onto the prestigious trophy in 2009, their decision to recall former state players Thoong Chee Eng, Seah Chee Guan, Lim Bok Khoon and defender Yong Woon Seang, to beef up their campaign, has paid off.
