Quality junior golf marks the start of new SportExcel circuit

MONTEREZ Golf & Country Club’s K. Rhaasrikanesh shot an impressive 71 on the second day to win the gold medal in the boys’ 13-14 years age group in the first leg of the SportExcel National Junior circuit at Monterez in Shah Alam.

Rhaasrikanesh, a member of the Malaysia Golf Association’s back-up squad, had a two-round total of 147 (76-71) and won by three shots.
