Kuala Lumpur Library

Amid the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur’s busy streets, this library offers a calm and inviting refuge for those who love to read, learn or simply slow down.

Established in 1975 and relocated to its current site near Dataran Merdeka in 1989, the library is managed by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

After a major renovation in 2017, it reopened in 2019 with updated facilities.

It now features a network of 20 branch libraries across the city, ensuring residents have convenient access to books, resources and a welcoming space to read, learn and explore.

The library serves all community groups, including children, teenagers, adults, and persons with disabilities.

It also acts as a social hub, hosting lectures, workshops, book discussions, community programmes, and various other events.

Visitors can browse thousands of titles, enjoy free WiFi or delve into digital collections via the u-Pustaka platform. Membership is free for Malaysians.

KLCC Park

Nestled within Kuala Lumpur’s towering skyline, KLCC Park is a serene green space where people can escape the city rush and enjoy tranquillity.

The Lake Symphony Light and Sound Show features two musical fountains displaying over 150 unique animations, creating a mesmerising performance of water, lights and music.

National Art Gallery

GM Bukit Bintang

Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery

Nestled in the heart of Klang, the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery invites visitors on a fascinating journey through Selangor’s royal heritage.

Housed in the elegant Sultan Suleiman Building built in 1909, the gallery itself is a living piece of architecture – having served as a British administrative office and Japanese headquarters during World War II. It later became the Klang District Office before transforming into the royal gallery it is today.

Officially opened to the public in 2007, the gallery displays royal regalia, photographs, personal artefacts, state gifts, and crown jewels.
