KL hotel presents autumn indulgence with exquisite hairy crab

The culinary symphony at Shanghai restaurant, JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur, continues this autumn with the arrival of hairy crab season.

Executive Chinese chef Wong Wing Yeuk and his dedicated team is taking the seasonal bounty to new heights with a limited-time menu.

These delicate freshwater crustaceans are presented through a selection of delicacies showcasing the succulent crab meat and rich roe.

The menu includes Steamed Shanghainese Hairy Crab, Braised Hairy Crab Roe Soup with Shredded Fish Maw, Braised Bean Curd Casserole with Hairy Crab Roe, Braised Noodles with Hairy Crab Roe and Stir-fried Flat Glass Noodles with Hairy Crab Roe.

There are also bite-sized dishes, similar to dim sum, such as Steamed Shanghainese Meat Dumplings with Hairy Crab Roe, Steamed Prawn Dumpling with Hairy Crab Roe, Deep-Fried Crispy Roll with Hairy Crab Roe and Pan-Fried Meat Dumpling with Hairy Crab Roe.

Shanghai is a non-halal Michelin-selected restaurant.

Dishes are priced from RM15 per piece or from RM75 per person.

The hairy crab promotion is available until Nov 30 for lunch and dinner.

The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
