Making the link to premier golf getaways in Asean region

Destinations on offer include Vietnam, home to some of the best golf courses in Asia.

GOLFERS are being treated to a generous engagement this month via Asean Golf Getaway, taking them across the length and breadth of the region with knock-down savings.

The engagement, which runs throughout July, has been designed for participants to enjoy up to 20% savings on ground packages with RHB Bank credit cards and debit cards when buying flights.

The promotion is for purchases until July 22, with travel period up to Nov 30.

There are 11 golfing destinations – Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Phuket in Thailand; Bali, Bogor and Jakarta in Indonesia; Danang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam; and Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Basic three-day, two-night tour packages cover the air and ground aspects of these getaways within Asean.

The campaign is limited to 100 flights, each accommodating four golfers per flight/group.

The flights are via Malaysia Airlines – economy or business class – with airfares dependent on time of purchase, destination and departure date.

The packages include stays at selected hotels, access to golf courses and transfers, and start from RM2,333 during weekdays. They are subject to availability.

For bookings, CIT Travel provides a dedicated phone line, WhatsApp and email for details.

A minimum of four players is required, along with information on destinations, dates and preferred hotels and golf courses to receive a quote for air and ground engagement.

In a statement, a CIT Travel spokesperson said the company was committed to ensuring a journey that went beyond just golf – a trip of seamless travel solutions bundling savings and rewards.

“We don’t just facilitate travel, we elevate the voyage to a realm of convenience, savings and great enjoyment.

“We pride ourselves on being dedicated to turning every golf trip into a remarkable experience,” the spokesperson said.

Once the package is agreed upon, golfers need to make payment via RHB Bank credit card or debit card to receive up to 20% off ground fees.
