Chain’s 200th cafe opens at petrol station in Batu Maung


The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Malaysia’s latest cafe at Caltex Batu Maung has a bright, welcoming ambience.

THE Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Malaysia marked a milestone with the opening of its 200th cafe, located at Caltex Batu Maung, Penang.

The cafe underscores the chain’s vision of providing convenient access to premium beverages.

Its drive-in concept offers designated parking spots for customers, allowing them to enjoy their favourite handcrafted drinks with ease while minimising wait times.

“As we expand into Batu Maung, our focus remains on delivering quality in every cup, alongside accessible solutions like our drive-in cafe to better serve our customers’ evolving needs,” said The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Malaysia managing director Datuk M. Amar Shah.

“This cafe represents our commitment to providing an elevated and seamless experience, whether for a quick coffee stop or a leisurely break.”

The 2,100sq ft cafe can accommodate up to 86 visitors.

Paying tribute to the brand’s Southern Californian roots, the cafe’s design incorporates a bright, welcoming ambience.

The cafe at Caltex Batu Maung operates daily from 7am to 11pm.

It also launched the MyCBTL App in Penang ahead of the Caltex Batu Maung store opening.

The app provides features such as personalised offers, special promotions and seamless ordering.
