Teaming up to reduce educational inequality

YAYASAN TZA will collaborate with Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor to launch the second phase of the ACE-SPM programme, aimed at addressing educational inequalities, particularly among Form Five students in the B40 group.

Yayasan TZA advisor Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said the collaboration would expand the initiative, allowing more students preparing for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination to benefit, according to a Bernama report.

“The success we celebrate tonight is a testament to the unwavering support of our generous partners and donors.

“Everyone’s cooperation is crucial in realising this vision,” he said at the Yayasan TZA Appreciation Gala Dinner.

Tengku Zafrul also introduced a new initiative, “Larian Kita”, designed to promote physical health and foster social responsibility through a series of runs in Selangor, including locations such as Sabak Bernam, Kota Raja, Klang, Kota Damansara and Kuala Langat.

Starting this December, the run aims to support local charities, benefitting orphans, the elderly and the B40 group.

Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah is set to inaugurate the run in Sabak Bernam, with scenic rice fields as the backdrop.

The run, themed “Lari Bersama Kain Pelikat atau Kain Batik,” will celebrate cultural heritage and encourage an active lifestyle.
