Behind the scene at national news agency’s headquarters in KL

A DELEGATION from Star Media Group Bhd, led by its group chief executive officer Chan Seng Fatt, visited the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

Bernama chairman Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai warmly welcomed the team that also included The Star’s chief content officer Datin Paduka Esther Ng and managing editor Brian Martin.

Bernama reported that during the visit, the group engaged in a discussion about news services with Wong.

Also present were Bernama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj, deputy editor-in-chief (News Service) Nasriah Darus and other senior officials.

The Star delegation was later given a tour of Bernama’s editorial department, Bernama TV, digital media unit and Bernama Radio, and received a comprehensive briefing on its operations.
