Chain celebrates century of promoting reading culture

Malaysia’s prominent bookstore chain Popular marked its 100-year anniversary with a nationwide celebration involving all its 78 bookstores.

The theme “A Century of Wisdom” was chosen to commemorate the occasion and reflect Popular’s commitment in cultivating a culture of wisdom among readers, based on a belief in the importance of books.
