The inaugural Cocktail Week that takes place from April 24 to 30 in Kuala Lumpur, promises to be a vibrant celebration of mixology that couples the traditional with the contemporary art of cocktail making.

Expect a range of activities such as global guest bar takeovers, seminars and masterclasses, cocktail competitions, cocktail and culinary pairings as well as the main event – the Festival Village.

The event is brought together by 10 individuals from the food and drink industry who are the event organising committee members.

Three X Co bar manager Angeline Tan, who is one of the committee members, said the event aimed to educate the community on craft cocktails, expose them to Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant cocktail scene and excite the industry and consumers through activities and experience.

“The week-long festivities will take place across five zones including Bangsar, Petaling Jaya and Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Damansara Heights, Chinatown and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

“Fourteen bars from Asia will take over 18 participating cocktail bars and present their best cocktails to visitors.
