In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the local council organised a programme to treat the orphans and underprivileged children from Pusat Jagaan Baitul Hidayah, Puchong.

Each child received RM250 to purchase Aidilfitri items such as new clothes and RM50 duit raya.

“This programme is MBSJ’s initiative to connect with and care for underprivileged communities in the city.

They were later joined by Subang Jaya mayor Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim, Subang Jaya deputy mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali, Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin and Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd Islamic affairs and government relations director Ahmad Syukry Ibrahim.
