Home appliance brand Bosch has opened its flagship experience centre offering customers the chance to try its premium home appliances.

The 7,000sq ft one-stop sales and customer service centre is located in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya in Selangor.

Bosch Home Appliances Malaysia chief executive officer Gary Te said product presentation was part of its strategy to reach consumers directly.

“We aim to empower our consumers with an up-close experience of using Bosch home appliances.

“Our direct-to-consumer strategy and experience centre has long been tried and tested in many other countries and proven to work.

“With this opening, Bosch is committed to further expanding into Malaysian households,” he said.

A complete range of Bosch home appliances is on display, with the latest gadgets including the Series 8 ovens guided by artificial intelligence (AI) and appliances that can be remotely controlled by a cellphone, tablet, voice and other devices.

To show off the brand’s German engineering, a creative structure featuring a Bosch dishwasher and its inner components is set up in the middle of the showroom, and product specialists are on hand to assist with detailed explanations.

There is also a live kitchen area where activities such as baking classes, workshops and corporate events can be conducted for up to 30 people.

Children can enjoy themselves in a designated play area equipped with toy kitchens.

Bosch Home Appliances Asean chief executive officer Martin Jaeger said the company saw great potential in Malaysia.

“Being the leader in the premium home appliances segment in Malaysia, we see the opportunity to grow our market share.”

Bosch Malaysia managing director Klauss Landhaeusser said that as of Dec 31, 2022, Bosch group had 4,200 associates and had made a total of RM400mil investment in Malaysia.
