Sunway launches roadshow to celebrate its 50th anniversary

STAMPING a mark in celebrating its 50th anniversary, Sunway has launched its Golden Jubilee Mega Roadshow at Sunway Pyramid Mall.

The roadshow kicked off at Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang (Feb 21-25), then moved to Aeon Mall Kinta City in Ipoh (Feb 22-25), followed by Sunway Pyramid Mall in Sunway City KL (Feb 29-March 3), and will wrap up at Sunway Big Box Mall in Johor (March 5-10).

Alongside a chance to win daily lucky draw prizes totaling over RM500,000, attendees at the roadshows could also look forward to exclusive deals from Sunway Theme Parks, Sunway Hospitality, Sunway Malls, and more.

These limited time offers and more can be accessed through the Sunway Super App, available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery.

During the launching of the roadshow on Feb 29, Sunway Group founder and chairman Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah said that 100,000 visitors participated in the northern roadshow in Penang and Ipoh.

"We look forward to receiving as much love and support from the community here too.

"Sunway joins a rare category of global companies that have succeeded in marking their golden jubilee," he said at the 50th anniversary celebration together with the launching.

"A big thank you to all our partners and our communities for your support throughout the years.

"Together with Sunway City Ipoh and Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, our integrated areas will continue to help domestic and international tourists and show the best of Malaysia.

"Considering that tourism activities contribute to approximately 15% of the country's GDP, we are enthusiastic about collaborating with our partners to enhance Malaysia's appeal as a valuable tourist destination and strengthen our economy.

"Sunway will also be ramping up several corporate social responsibility initiatives in line with its commitment to do well by doing good and to leave no one behind.

"I hope that Sunway will inspire other companies in the region to adopt the Wellbeing Development Agenda more than before," he added.
