The hotel’s Chinese New Year corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme at Kasih Sayang Old Folk Home showcased its commitment to creating meaningful connections and fostering a sense of togetherness with the elderly.

The event kicked off with a meaningful yee sang tossing session, where the hotel management team and senior citizens joined together in the festive custom symbolising collective hopes for abundant health and happiness in the coming year.

The joyous occasion was marked by genuine smiles and camaraderie shared between the team and the home’s residents.

One World Hotel crafted a delightful culinary experience for the elderly folk, featuring a sumptuous lunch that ended with delectable desserts.

The intention behind this thoughtful gesture was to not only provide nourishment but also create a memorable and festive day for the residents.

Furthermore, the presentation of cash donation and essential items needed by the home aimed to alleviate the home’s burdens and ensure a plentiful supply of necessities for the aged.

Adding a touch of traditional blessings and joy, the hotel management team distributed ang pow to the home’s residents, bringing an extra layer of festive spirit.

The gesture was met with gratitude and appreciation, creating lasting memories for both the hotel team and the old folk.

Kasih Sayang Old Folk Home, located in Taman Bukit Angsana in Cheras, currently provides a home for 16 senior citizens.
