MANY loyal friends of The Star in Penang dropped by with best wishes and gifts galore for Chinese New Year.

AirAsia brought delights marketed and distributed by AirAsia Grocer, which uses extensive air and land logistics capabilities to connect farmers with importers, distributors, supermarket chains, hotels, restaurants, central kitchens and other entities.

AirAsia northern region director Kenneth Tan and his team presented the goodies.

Penang MCA dropped by with a large hamper, represented by state party secretary Yeoh Chin Kah and committee members Khoo Soon Hin and Chen Kwan Soon.

They spent some time chatting with Star Media Group (SMG) deputy news editor Arnold Loh.

Also paying a visit was Lions Club of Bukit Mertajam Horizon current president Denny Low who presented a hamper to SMG administration manager Michelle Tang.

He was accompanied by club charter president Kevin Teow, secretary Linda Huang and treasurer Maggie Looi.

Adding to the joy was Penang Women’s Development Corpora-tion.

Its communications head Roopinder Kaur handed over a gift to SMG assistant news editor Tan Sin Chow.
