THE Tambun parliamentary service centre has launched a website to ease the process for stakeholders to make complaints and apply for aid.

Mohamad Hairul Amir Sabri, chief special officer to Tambun MP Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said parlimentambun.my is fully operational.

Apart from complaints and applications, folks can also send event invitations to Anwar, who is also the Prime Minister.

“Complaints that we receive will be forwarded to the relevant agencies,” said Mohamad Hairul during a press conference at the centre in Meru Raya.

“If there is a complaint about potholes, we will alert Ipoh City Council (MBI) about it and track the progress.

“Complainants can check the status on the website after 14 working days,” he added.

Mohamad Hairul said the website was meant to help those unable to visit the service centre due to lack of transport.

“It also saves time when people can use the website.

“The service centre receives between 30 and 40 complaints, invitations and applications daily,” he said.

“Most are on welfare matters,” he added.
