Performances by young actors evoke magic of festive season at venues in KL and PJ

The holiday season came alive with magical Christmas-themed performances by the talented children from The Story Book Academy.

The young stars of The Story Book Academy, aged three to 11, took the stage at a show held at the Kuash Theatre of Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun, Kuala Lumpur.

The performances featured the timeless tale of The Nutcracker Prince and whimsical charm of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, brought to life by the academy’s kids aged three to seven.

A heartwarming rendition of the classic The Little Prince by children aged seven to 11 was also performed.

In the true spirit of Christmas, The Story Book Academy also hosted 40 Myanmar refugee children from Zomi Education Centre to watch the show.

Each refugee child received storybooks sponsored by the academy and Books for a Better World to foster a love for literature.

“We believe in the power of storytelling to inspire and bring joy, especially during the festive season,” said The Story Book Academy director Jeanisha Wan.

“Our young performers have worked tirelessly to create magical moments on stage and we are thrilled to share the joy of Christmas with the community.”

At Tropicana Gardens Mall, Petaling Jaya, another group of students from The Story Book Academy delighted audiences with a spirited performance of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail.
