Foundation gives aid to children’s home and animal welfare group

Tropicana Foundation helped bring cheer to Sai Pandian Children Home in Setia Alam, Selangor.

The team from the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, representing the foundation, brought food and gave Deepavali packets to the 24 children at the home.

Volunteers from the foundation also reached out to PAWS Animal Welfare Society in Petaling Jaya.

They donated pet food as well as walked and bathed the dogs and cleaned their cages.

The foundation is the charity arm of Tropicana Corporation Bhd.

Group managing director Dion Tan said, “As a community builder, we are committed to extending support and spreading happiness to the underprivileged – be it children, adults or even pets.”

Established since 2011, the foundation has channelled more than RM26mil towards charitable causes around Malaysia.
