Matcha and Belgian chocolate a unison of creamy goodness

MAGNUM has introduced its latest culinary masterpiece called Magnum Matcha Crumble (pic).

This concept of harmoniously blending the East and West captures the essence of Japanese culture paired with Magnum’s signature thick “cracking” Belgian chocolate.

Magnum Matcha Crumble is a velvety smooth matcha ice cream, encased in Magnum’s thick Belgian chocolate with crunchy shortbread crumble pieces.

This combination offers a symphony of textures and flavours that elevates the ice cream experience.

Unilever Ice Cream Malaysia business lead Jean Nichapat Valaiphatchra said, “At Magnum, we’ve always pushed the boundaries of indulgence.

“We’re not just delivering ice cream; we’re delivering an experience.

“Magnum Matcha Crumble is a testament to our commitment to quality, innovation and the pursuit of true pleasure.”

Magnum marked its latest creation with an event at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur, which was transformed into a “Magnum Matcha World”.

The event featured an elevated Magnum ice cream experience, a captivating East meets West live performance and an exclusive Magnum x Chateau Dionne chef’s creation.

Guests experienced the artistry of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. They learned the intricate techniques of whisking premium matcha tea with a decadent piece of M-shaped Belgian chocolate.

The guests also crafted their own Japanese fans as personalised masterpieces to keep as a memento of the occasion.

To add a touch of tradition and optimism to the experience, guests were invited to partake in a Japanese ritual of penning down their hopes and dreams for the upcoming year and hanging messages on a wishing tree.

Magnum Matcha Crumble is available at mini markets, supermarkets, convenience stores, petrol marts, ecommerce sites and food delivery platforms.
