Speed skater wins modelling contest


Young and talented, Bryna has represented Malaysia numerous times in competitions around the world.

BRYNA Ng Thin Len has emerged the Champion in the Teen Category of the Face of Malaysia modelling competition.

The grand finale of the competition, which was organised by the International Celebrity Pageant Group, took place at HGH Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Bryna, 16, will be representing Malaysia in the Face of Asia selection in South Korea this November, showcasing Malaysia’s unique culture and spirit as she competes against participants from various Asian countries.

Despite her young age, the short-track speed skater held the runner-up position in the Little Ms & Mr Celebrity in Malaysia in 2022 and was Miss Malaysia Teen Kebaya in 2022.

Bryna, who is also a Malaysia’s tourism and culture ambassador in 2022, is committed to publicising the country.

Regarded as a rising star in ice skating, Bryna is also set to depart for Seoul, South Korea, to prepare for the 2024 World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships.

Additionally, she is gearing up for the 2025 South East Asian Games.

Since 2016, Bryna has represented Malaysia in various competitions in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand and Hungary, achieving commendable results and bringing honour to the nation.

She had previously won a silver and bronze medals at the South East Asia (SEA) Open Short Track Speed Skating championship held in Singapore in January 2020.
