A BOY who suffered severe injuries in a motorcycle accident has received aid from “Cepat-Cepat Tolong” which is a MagnumCares programme.

Magnum Eastcoast and Selangor vice-president Lim See Chin presented a RM2,000 cash donation to eight-year-old Harinesh at an event witnessed by Pahang executive council member Sim Chon Siang.

Lim said Harinesh’s leg got stuck inside the slot of a motorcycle rim resulting in a fracture.

“He cannot stand and walk using the leg.

“He has to use crutches until he can put weight on the leg again.

“The estimated cost for the boy’s Achilles tendon reconstruction is RM6,620.

“Uthaya Sankar, the boy’s father, is a barber with four children.

“His wife is a stay-at-home mother, and his salary barely supports their living expenses,” said Lim in a statement.

He added that the MagnumCares “Cepat-Cepat Tolong” programme was aimed at improving the well-being of underprivileged community nationwide.

“Cepat-Cepat Tolong believes that speediness in rendering help when it is needed most makes all the difference.”
