‘Festival a boon for state, stimulates creative ecosystem’

PENANG has benefitted greatly from the George Town Festival (GTF) since the annual event made its debut in 2010, says caretaker Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

Besides providing entertainment and cultivating an appreciation for arts and culture, it also created opportunities that stimulated the growth of the state’s creative ecosystem, he said.
