MALAYSIA’S leading golf retailer MST Golf celebrated the opening of MST Golf Arena at the Gurney Paragon Mall.

Situated on the third floor of the mall, it is the third such arena in the country and the largest indoor golf facility in Penang.

Spanning over 20,000sq ft, MST Golf Arena aims to transform the golfing scene by providing comprehensive facilities and an extensive range of offerings catering to golfers of all levels, families seeking entertainment and corporate groups in search of a distinctive event venue.

MST Golf Group Bhd executive chairman KP Low in his opening address said the company was thrilled to introduce this “three-in-one’ concept under one roof in Penang, where enthusiasts and beginners can immerse themselves in the world of golf.

“We hope that this state-of-the-art facility, coupled with our retail outlet, will synergise to create more golfers and enrich the golfing landscape in the northern region,” he said.

Low added that the company was also looking to expand its 130,000-member base with the opening of the MST Golf Arena.

“In addition to commemorating this grand opening, we will also be marking MST Golf Group Bhd’s upcoming listing on Bursa Malaysia’s (KLSE) main board on July 20.”

The opening ceremony was attended by Bukit Bendera MP Syerleena Abdul Rashid, Hunza Group founder and executive adviser Datuk Seri Khor Teng Tong and Gurney Paragon Mall chief operations officer Koay Bee Fong.

MST Golf Arena features 10 golf simulator bays, including one located in a deluxe suite, each equipped with Foresight Sports’ cutting-edge GCHawk launch monitors.

Golfers of all skill levels can tee off at 30 world-class courses such as Pebble Beach, refine their swing or enjoy beginner-friendly carnival-style games.

Additionally, the facility boasts a sprawling, contoured putting green equipped with a state-of-the-art PuttView system, providing an immersive and enjoyable putting experience.

MST Golf Arena offers three distinctive dining venues: the White Tee Restaurant, Blue Tee Sports Bar and Black Tee Lounge.

The skilled culinary team serves an array of international cuisine.

The Golf Lab Performance Centre, situated within MST Golf Arena, provides an accessible and enjoyable learning experience for golfers of all proficiency levels, from beginners to seasoned players.

Equipped with advanced technology such as Gears Sports, K-Motion, 3-D Balance Plate, Quintic Ball Roll, Swing Catalyst, Speed Set and high-speed multiple camera systems, the centre delivers top-notch custom fitting and learning programmes.

Adjacent is the MST Golf Super Store which showcases the latest collections from renowned golf and athleisure wear brands such as GFORE, Peter Millar, Calvin Klein, Le Coq Sportif, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour and Nike.

Golfers can also explore a comprehensive selection of equipment from various brands such as TaylorMade, Honma, Mizuno, Onoff, Majesty, Titleist, PXG, Yamaha, Wilson, Cobra and Ping.
