IN CONJUNCTION with Hari Raya Aidiladha, Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) distributed sacrificial meat to 600 asnaf families residing around the six highways it operates in the Klang Valley.

Prolintas Group chief executive officer Datuk Mohammad Azlan Abdullah said it was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at alleviating the burden of those in need.

“For Aidiladha, we share our blessings by distributing sacrificial meat to less fortunate families,” he said.

“We collaborated with residents’ associations to identify families truly in need, to receive the meat,” he said.

Mohammad Azlan said the distribution of sacrificial meat was carried out in stages throughout Aidiladha.

The recipients comprised 100 families each in Flat PKNS Kampung Baru in Kuala Lumpur, near the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway; PPR Taman Bukit Subang near the Guthrie Corridor Expressway; Flat Taman Sri Lembayung in Section 25 of Shah Alam, near the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway; Kampung Sungai Ramal Dalam near the Kajang SILK Highway; Flat Gugusan Semarak in Section 4, Kota Damansara in Petaling Jaya, near the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Highway and PPR Desa Tun Razak near the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway.

The slaughtering and management of the sacrificial meat were carried out in collaboration with mosque and surau congregants from the respective areas, as well as representatives from each Prolintas subsidiary.

The meat was packed and distributed to the recipients the same day.
