JB storm victims get RM80,000 to fix homes

THE final tally of houses that were affected by the thunderstorm in Kampung Melayu Majidee is 258, says Johor Baru MP Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.

The Deputy Local Government Development Minister said the 258 families had registered themselves as victims with the Welfare Department (JKM) after the May 3 incident.
