MBSP culls over 2,700 crows in Seberang Prai

A TOTAL 2,732 crows were shot in the crow-shooting programme by Seberang Prai City Council (MBSP).

The city council’s Operation Crow Sharpshooter (Ops CroSS), was held at various hotspots in Seberang Prai in the first week of May to reduce the crow population.

State publisher Buletin Mutiara said a total of 15 selected shooters took part in the special operation held between 7am and 8pm.

The operation was officially launched in the presence of MBSP secretary Baderul Amin Abdul Hamid, MBSP Health Services Department head Mohd Ibrahim Md Nor and senior officers at the city council headquarters building in Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam.
