Ji Shan was ranked Top in the World and Malaysia for the Advanced Financial Management paper by obtaining a score of 88%.
EIGHT students from Sunway TES Centre of Accountancy Excellence’s (CAE) Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) programme were awarded World and Malaysia Prizes for the March 2023 examination session.
The prizes are awarded by ACCA to students who scored 85% or above. They received a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of their success on their first exam attempt.
Teng Ji Shan was ranked Top in the World and Malaysia for Advanced Financial Management (AFM) paper for scoring 88%.
A delighted Teng shared in a statement: “It serves as approval of my knowledge, skills and techniques in AFM, and it motivates me to continue doing my best in ACCA.”
Other ACCA prize recipients who ranked Top in Malaysia include Koh Yik Pin for Audit and Assurance, Tan Qiao Qi for Financial Management, Alvin Looi Song Wei for Financial Reporting, Athirah Ismali @ Ismail for Taxation Malaysia, and Yong Yue Yuan for Advanced Taxation Malaysia.
Ain Nurkhairina Khairuddin and Tan Jia Jin were named the ACCA Top Affiliates in Malaysia for their impressive examination scores.
With an average score of 80.5%, Ain Nurkhairina was ranked the 1st ACCA Top Affiliate in Malaysia. She was also ranked Top in Malaysia and second in the world in the Advanced Audit and Assurance paper.
A Yayasan Peneraju scholar, Ain Nurkhairina thanked her family members, friends and lecturers for their guidance.
“I would not have achieved what I did today without all the help from my lecturers.
“They are dedicated in supporting and preparing all the students for the exams.
“This accomplishment is a significant milestone. This will open doors to valuable professional opportunities for me.”
As for Jia Jin, she was ranked the 3rd ACCA Top Affiliate in Malaysia, with an average score of 77.5%.
She was also a World Prize Winner for the paper Advanced Audit and Assurance in the September 2022 examination session.
To date, Sunway TES CAE has produced over 249 World Prize Winners and 796 Malaysian Prize Winners for ACCA and ACCA Foundation in Accountancy.
