Next-of-kin sought to claim bodies of five patients


PENANG Hospital is seeking the next-of-kin of five men whose bodies have not been claimed at its Medical Forensic Department.

The deceased persons are Panjamin Julian, 56, whose last-known address is No.53, Jalan P. Ramlee in Penang; Ikhsan Muchsin, 71, from No.144, Jalan Sir Ibrahim in George Town; Lim Theam Hock, 59, from No.342, Blok G, Mukim 12, Sepuluh Kongsi in Bayan Lepas; and Muhamad lbrahim Mohamnad, 70, from No.10, Persiaran Seksyen 6/4, Bertam Putra, Kepala Batas.

The fifth dead patient has not been identified.

Department deputy director (medical) Dr Wong Khar Ming said Panjamin died on March 9 from acute myeloid leukemia.

Ikhsan died on March 13 due to pneumonia, Lim on March 14 from multiple organ failure and Muhammad Ibrahim died on March 18 due to advanced heart failure.

Dr Wong called on those who know their family members or next-of-kin to let them know their whereabouts.
