SUNWAY paid tribute to the dazzling year it had and to the brilliance of one of its most important stakeholders, by hosting the most anticipated media night of the year.
Held at Sunway Resort Hotel’s Grand Lagoon Ballroom, the event was attended by about 350 guests, comprising reporters, editors and non-governmental organisation (NGO) partners.
During the Colourful Vogue-themed event, guests filled every corner of the ballroom with bright colours as they vied for the Best Dressed Award.
Lucky draws also gave guests a chance to win a range of prizes which included stays at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat as well as the latest electronic devices and gadgets.
Sunway kept guests entertained throughout the night.
A special performance by the winner of “Sunway’s Got Talent”, glamorous cultural dances and a performance by Malaysian artiste Reshmonu ensured guests returned home with full bellies and happy hearts.
“At Sunway, we regard the media as among our most important stakeholders, helping us to communicate with the public effectively,” said Sunway Group founder and chairman Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah.
“Tonight’s event is held in appreciation of the important work that journalists do every day for society,” he added.
Sunway’s media night is one such effort the group actively takes to show its gratitude for the support shown by its stakeholders.
Sunway is celebrating its 50th anniversary next year.
