Illegal chicken slaughterhouse closed by MBPJ

The unlicensed chicken slaughterhouse was shut down after it was found to be operating in unhygienic conditions.

AN UNLICENSED chicken slaughterhouse in Section 51, Petaling Jaya Old Town in Selangor, was shut down for being environmental and health hazards.

Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Environmental Health assistant officer Davakumar Krisnan said the illegal operations carried out in unhygienic conditions could cause contamination as the slaughtered carcasses were placed on the floor.
