Campaign winners drive home new cars

WINNERS of a bank’s credit card campaign were announced after its six-month run ended on Sept 30.

Bank Muamalat retail banking director Zury Rahimee Zainal Abiden congratulated all the winners of the “Apply, Activate, Spend & Win” campaign.

“It has attracted many new customers to apply for the Bank Muamalat Credit Card-i that was launched last April,” said Zury at the prize-giving ceremony at the bank’s Sungai Besi branch in Kuala Lumpur.

Visa Malaysia country head Ng Kong Boon was also present at the event.

The campaign was a collaboration between Bank Muamalat and Visa International.

Customers who had their cards approved during the campaign period were automatically eligible to participate in the campaign.

Grand-prize winner Thibaneshman Rajandran from Johor drove away an Audi Q2 while first-prize winner Zulhaizi Aziz from Selayang, Selangor, received a Proton X70.

Second-prize winner Muhamad Suhaidi Saba’i from Kuala Kubu, Selangor, won a Proton X50.

Nine customers won the third prize of Samsung S21 mobile phones while 300 customers received Shopee e-vouchers worth RM200 each.

The bank has since launched a new “Spend to Win” campaign that will run until Feb 28 for both credit card and debit card holders.

Prizes include an iPhone 14, Smart Luggage and cash back.
