Consumers will be able to dabble in DIY mixology sessions using 1664 Blanc and 1664 Rose wheat beers at L’Atelier 1664 as part of Blanc 1664’s showcase this festive season.

Carlsberg Malaysia is bringing the Parisian experience to consumers this festive season at the Connection in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur with its French premium wheat beer brand 1664 Blanc.

Following the launch of Blanc 1664’s “Art with a Twist” artist edition cans created by French artist Michael Cailloux throughout October and November, the brand is elevating its #GoodTasteWithATwist experience for Malaysian fans.

With an ensemble of iconic landmarks inspired by its French roots, 1664 Blanc has put together a charming street within the mall named Rue 1664 where one can get a taste of France while enjoying both 1664 Blanc and 1664 Rose wheat beers.

The journey begins at Arc De Blanc, a Parisian Garden arch accentuated with blooming flowers, a French bulldog and the iconic Eiffel Tower presiding as a centrepiece before continuing with a stop at Cafe La Rue 1664, a picturesque representation of the streets of Paris.

The journey then concludes at L’Atelier 1664, a lounge for where drinkers can enjoy a refreshing pint of the French brew while being serenaded by music and live performances.

Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Stefano Clini said the Rue 1664 showcase was an invitation to enjoy the French spirit of joie de vivre (joy of living) throughout the month.

“As our social lifestyle returns to new normalcy, we wish to have our premium brand 1664 elevate moments of good taste when friends and loved ones meet over our fine brews,” Clini said during the launch at L’Atelier 1664.

In addition to the eye-catching installations, the Rue 1664 showcase also wants to inspire beer drinkers to enjoy simple pleasures as well as embrace their creativity.

Until Jan 1, 1664 Blanc will organise special workshops at L’Atelier 1664 every weekend and public holidays, where guests will be able to dabble in fluid art expression, silkscreen tote bag printing and DIY cocktail mixology sessions with 1664 Blanc and 1664 Rose beers.

During ‘Blue Hour’, which is from 6pm to 9pm every Wednesday to Saturday, guests at the L’Atelier 1664 lounge can enjoy the transition from dusk to night with live music and performances.

Consumers can register at https://rue1664.com to visit the Rue 1664 showcase and enjoy one complimentary drink of 1664 Blanc or 1664 Rose or secure a spot for the premium experience.
