BERJAYA Land Berhad unveiled The Tropika Bukit Jalil Commercial at a grand launch in Kuala Lumpur.

The nature-inspired mixed development is designed to be the next lifestyle hotspot in the locality.

It is sandwiched between two lushly landscaped green lungs, namely the Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort and Bukit Jalil Recreational Park.

The Tropika Bukit Jalil has also obtained GreenRE certification, which is in line with BLand’s emphasis on sustainable development.

In total, The Tropika Bukit Jalil Commercial consists of nine double-storey shoplots and 11 retail units aimed at catering to the daily needs of the locality’s residents.

The recent ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by BLand deputy chairman and Berjaya Corporation Berhad joint group chief executive officer Syed Ali Shahul Hameed, BLand chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Rahim Mohd Zin, BLand executive director Tan Tee Ming and Trendcell Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Adelene Foo, which operates Jaya Grocer.

Other representatives of tenants included Osso Bone Care founder Calvin Shun, Anytime Fitness director Jayagobi Shanmugam and Oomph Cafe & Bar founder Vince Chow.

The launch of the 2.6ha freehold mixed development by BLand was accompanied by a lion dance.

“The Tropika Bukit Jalil demonstrates BLand’s continuous commitment to building not only homes but also a thriving community that gathers people from all walks of life to experience a truly inspiring lifestyle for our buyers,” said Syed Ali.

Among the list of tenants are Jaya Grocer, Watson, Caring, Osso Bone Care, Hair Doc by One Doc, Kimiso Beauty, Anytime Fitness, Starbucks, Baskin-Robbins, Oomph Cafe & Bar, La Juiceria Superfoods and Zhou.

The Tropika Bukit Jalil highlights the need for healthy living with Osso Bone Care, a chiropractic centre first established since 2007, taking up three lots on the first floor.

Anytime Fitness, a 24-hour fitness centre, has taken up six lots on the ground floor to provide residents an easy avenue for their fitness training.

“With the current tenant mix and diverse offerings for the Bukit Jalil community, The Tropika Bukit Jalil Commercial will be the next hangout spot and an ideal place to live, work and play,” said Tan.

Abdul Rahim said: “Bukit Jalil is one of the few locations in Kuala Lumpur where property prices have been holding up well. We are confident The Tropika Bukit Jalil will deliver exceptional value for our buyers.”

Christmas activities were also held in conjunction with the grand launch.

The Christmas Bazaar hosted a variety of pop-up booths. Some of these included food and beverage, lifestyle, and apparel brands.
