Discounted essential items sold out within 40 minutes

ALMOST all the items on sale at the Farmers’ Family Sales Carnival organised by National Farmers Organisation (Nafas) at Dewan Balairaya Kampung Baru Nelayan in Sabak Bernam, Selangor, were sold out in just 40 minutes.

Nafas board of directors member Datuk Dr Abd Rahman Bakri said there was overwhelming response to the carnival, especially from the B40 group, as discounts of between 20% and 30% were offered for all products.
