The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSCCCI) presenting a mock cheque for RM118,000 to Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) chancellor Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik for the UTAR Hospital project in Kampar, Perak.
The presentation ceremony was held during the UTAR Hospital charity golf tournament hosted by UTAR’s Sungai Long Campus at Sungai Long Golf & Country Club, Kajang, Selangor.
Present were KLSCCCI members Datuk Ng Yih Pyng, Datuk Tan Tian Meng, Datuk Liaw Choon Liang, Foo Kooi Siong, Datuk Lim Chiun Cheong, Tan Kar Peng, Datuk Albert Chiang Heng Kieng, Ho Soo Fong and Soong Wing Hong.
Also present were UTAR Education Foundation board of trustees chairman Tan Sri Dr Sak
Cheng Lum, UTAR Council chairman Tan Sri Dr Ting Chew Peh, UTAR Hospital board chairman and UTAR council member Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Chuah Hean Teik, UTAR council member Datuk Lim Si Cheng, UTAR council member Datuk Lee Leck Cheng, UTAR president Prof Datuk Dr Ewe Hong Tat and Sungai Long Golf and Country Club’s Datuk Seri Yap Chong Lee.
