THE latest addition to Harbour Place, Butterworth in Penang, is a 230-unit serviced apartment.

Consisting of a single 35-storey tower on 0.48ha land, Rubica is OSK Property’s seventh project in Harbour Place with a strategic location between Penang island, Bukit Mertajam on the mainland and Kulim in Kedah.

The development offers majestic views of the Penang strait and access to ample recreational spaces, built within a low-density development.

“Inspired by the colourful perspectives of the Rubik’s Cube, Rubica represents a new contemporary residence created for discerning family-centric buyers,” said OSK Property chief executive officer Ong Ghee Bin.

“Rubica will appeal not only to first-time homebuyers but also professionals, young families as well as seasoned investors,” he said.

The units offer five versatile and practical layouts of three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms, with built-ups ranging from 946sq ft to 1,335sq ft, plus two to three parking bays per unit.

For extended families, the flexible dual-key ready units will allow family members to have a private space of their own.

The dual-key ready units will also be perfect for those wishing to own a home with the option of renting out some space for additional income.

The units are priced from RM484,000 and equipped with facilities such as a gymnasium, infinity swimming pool and children’s playground.

The development’s multi-tier security system will provide residents with peace of mind around the clock.

Located at the centre of Butterworth and just 1.5km from Penang Sentral, residents of Rubica will enjoy easy access to the ferry station which connects them to Penang island and the Electric Train Service (ETS).

The project is also within a 10-minute drive to the Prai Free Industrial Zone, North Butterworth Container Terminal as well as the Penang Bridge, and a 30-minute drive to Penang International Airport.

Rubica is well connected to other major cities and states in the peninsula through the North-South Highway, Butterworth-Kulim Expressway and Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR).

Rubica is near public and private education institutions such as SK Convent Butterworth and SMK Convent Butterworth.

Malls and supermarkets are located nearby, with the nearest being Econsave supermarket which is 2km away, Sunway Carnival Mall and Lotus’s Seberang Jaya which is 5km away.

Healthcare facilities are also within easy reach.
