SIX locals have been hailed as heroes for their service to the community.

The state bestowed this recognition to Saras Pillay, Chong Soon Kheng, Anna Loo Siew Ngoh, Muhammad Syahir Jamaludin, Azizul Abdul Rahim and Sally Ng Chit Peng at the LovePenang Community Awards Programme.
