Drainage, hillslope maintenance priority in MBPJ budget


MAINTAINING and stabilising steep hillslopes are Petaling Jaya City Council’s (MBPJ) main priority and the local authority has set aside RM2.5mil for this purpose in Budget 2023.

“Immediate maintenance and upgrade of hillslopes in Petaling Jaya will commence, especially repair works and stabilising steep hills affected by the heavy rain in Tropicana Selatan, PJU 3,” said Petaling Jaya mayor Mohd Azhan Md Mansor during the tabling of MBPJ’s 2023 budget.
