Selangor MB believes palace statement issued to clarify what transpired at meeting

SUNGAI BESAR: Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari believes that the statement issued by the Selangor palace was to clarify certain reports or posts on the state’s decision to not dissolve the state assembly.

“I believe the statement was issued so that there wouldn’t be any rumours that the Sultan of Selangor had rejected our proposal, that we had tabled an offer, or that there were other discussions,” he said.
