MB: Highway expansions needed to ease congestion

Onn Hafiz says upgrading work between Senai Utara and Pandan along the NSE will cost RM510mil.

TRAFFIC congestion at the Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE) and North-South Expressway (NSE) can be eased if upgrading works are done, said Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

He said an upgrade would mean widening the NSE between North Senai and Pandan in Johor Baru from four lanes to six lanes, aside from building an additional lane for overtaking along the SDE.
