Help her breathe: Newborn needs funds for medical expenses

Faith is diagnosed with general muscle weakness and has been in intensive care since birth.

FAITH Sixto Simpal, who is just months old, has been diagnosed with generalised muscle weakness and has no strength to even breathe.

She has been in the intensive care unit of Hospital Tunku Azizah in Kuala Lumpur since birth and relies on a machine to keep her alive.

Her Filipino parents who live in Kuala Lumpur are unable to cope with the required medical expenses of RM60,000.

Her mother is a full-time housewife as she has to take care of her other children while Faith’s father, who is the sole breadwinner, works in a printing factory.

Faith also requires diapers and infant formula. Her parents will also need to buy a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine and suction machine for her after she is discharged.

Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Da Ai Malaysia is assisting the parents to raise funds for Faith.

Those who wish to donate can call 012-722 2849 (Vin) or email vindaai2849@gmail.com
