Hotel visit to strengthen ties with media group

A TEAM from The Light Hotel visited The Star Pitt Street office in George Town in conjunction with Star Media Group’s (SMG) 51st anniversary.

The visit was to foster good relationship between the hotel and The Star.The Light Hotel director of marketing and communications R. Sharmila said the purpose of the visit was to reaffirm the relationship and to continue the camaraderie between the two organisations.

“The visit is also to show our presence in Penang so that we can cooperate better in the future,” she said.

She added they were looking forward to a fruitful collaboration between The Light and The Star.During the visit, Sharmila presented a chocolate cake to SMG client brand marketing general manager Simone Liong and senior news editor Alex Teng.
