RM100,000 set aside to buy 40,000 sea turtle eggs

PROTECTING the environment is one of the core missions of the Johor government, especially when it comes to ensuring that marine life is free from any harm or danger, says Datuk Zahari Sarip.

The Johor agriculture, agro-based industry and rural development committee chairman said one of the state’s long-term plans was to increase the allocation to buy sea turtle eggs collected by islanders and coastal fishermen.
