Air Selangor: Water supply in Klang Valley fully restored as at 3pm

WATER supply in the Klang Valley, which was disrupted due to the shutdown of the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant (Langat 2 WTP) has fully recovered as at 3pm on Friday (Aug 12).

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said in a statement that water supply to all 397 affected areas in three regions had been restored.

"Air Selangor would like to thank consumers for their patience and cooperation during this scheduled water supply disruption period," Air Selangor said in a statement on Friday.

The Langat 2 plant had to be temporarily closed due to an oil spill at Sungai Semantan in Karak, Pahang, due to an accident along the Karak-Bentong Highway on Thursday (Aug 11).
