THE water supply recovery in the affected areas in Hulu Selangor is at 66% as of 7pm Wednesday (Aug 10).
Ninety-seven out of the 188 areas have had their water supply fully restored.
Earlier, 27 areas received their water supply as of noon.
Air Selangor Corporate communications head Elina Baseri, in a statement, advised consumers to let the tap flow until it is clear before use.
Air Selangor had said the water disruption was due to asset upgrading and maintenance works at the Sungai Rasa Water Treatment Plant.
It said duration of the water supply recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the location and distance of consumers’ premises.
Water supply is expected to be fully restored at 8am Thursday (Aug 11).
Consumers are advised to obtain information on water supply disruptions through official communication channels of Air Selangor, namely the Air Selangor application, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the website www.airselangor.com.
