Property developer hosts open house for media members

A HARI Raya Aidilfitri open house by a property developer drew some 45 guests comprising media members and company staff.

UEM Sunrise Bhd held the event at its showcase facility in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

UEM Sunrise chief executive officer Sufian Abdullah expressed his joy at being able to meet guests after two years of the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said the company’s Raya campaign – which runs until June 22 – offered deals and prizes, and encouraged guests to check out its website.

Sufian also said that the second phase of Kaia Heights would be launched soon and details would be revealed online.

Guests were treated to a buffet lunch which included Raya delicacies such as chicken and beef satay as well as nasi impit.

Traditional Raya dishes like ketupat palas, lontong, lemang as well as chicken and beef rendang were also served.

Nasi minyak hujan panas and ayam masak merah were also available.

Some hot stations were located outside, including one that served roast lamb with mashed potatoes and another that dished out laksa Johor.

A variety of desserts such as kuih lapis, seri muka, bubur kacang hijau, ice cream and brownies were among the sweet treats on the buffet.

Guests were treated to traditional Malay songs performed by a live band.

A photo booth and a lucky draw were also part of the event.
