Free meals for the needy and frontliners

TO HELP spread some Hari Raya cheer to the underprivileged community and to show appreciation to frontliners, the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) teamed up with Food Bank Foundation Malaysia to distribute foodstuff.

Some 100 food packets and groceries were handed out by volunteers from both LHDN and the foundation.

Distributions were held at the Cheras district police headquarters, Pudu and Sri Hartamas fire stations, Anjung Singgah National Welfare Foundation and Pusat Transit Gelandangan Kuala Lumpur.

LHDN volunteer fire brigade, Islamic Welfare Association Malaysia and LHDN Srikandi Cheras also lent a hand during the programme.
