EXECUTIVES of HR Owen’s Luxury Motor Group (London) and Cardiff City Football Club (Cardiff) visited the Royal Pahang Weave exhibition at Malaysian High Commission in London.

They were briefed by Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah on the collection which was held in conjunction with London Craft Week from May 9 to 15.

The inaugural exhibition highlighted a prison weaving programme; a traditional floor loom with a weaver at task; archival fabrics from Pahang Museum and a selection of Tunku Azizah’s own garments and private tenun collection.

Earlier at the launch, the Queen said the event was all about weaving hope and that she hoped to revive the craft.
