BESHOM Holdings Bhd held an appreciation dinner to mark Hai-O Enterprise’s 47th anniversary.

Hai-O offers a range of complementary medicine, wellness, beauty and healthcare products, and clinical services.

In his speech at the event, Beshom Holdings Bhd group managing director Tan Keng Kang said, “Hai-O opened the door for cooperation with China.

“After 47 years, it has distributed thousands of Chinese products and maintained a good relationship with more than 200 overseas suppliers.

“China’s strength makes us proud as we promote each other, and achieve our goals through a win-win partnership.”

Tan said that last year was the start of a new era for Hai-O, with a new name and structure – Beshom Holdings.

“Other than the continued listing of Hai-O on the main market of Bursa Malaysia, the restructuring has optimised the group’s structure and overall business planning.”

He said the reorganisation had clarified the group’s business and investment sectors as well as allowed the traditional and non-Chinese markets to keep pace with each other so that Beshom would have a more diversified and flexible business expansion in the future.

“We believe that home is the starting point for all good things.

“Beshom, transliterated as ‘Best Home’, also goes with our new slogan, The Best Starts From Home.”

Tan said the enterprise was moving towards a new peak.

“Other than continuing our strength in the industry, we will stick to our core values and build a business that integrates trust, value, integrity and sustainable development.”

He added that even though the Covid-19 pandemic had brought hardships, it had also honed Hai-O’s resilience.
